The Outstanding Cleaning Worker Award

Each year, the Simon Institute recognizes individual frontline cleaning workers who display a commitment to professional pride and care for their responsibilities. The pandemic has shown us that it’s more important than ever that we raise up the amazing individuals keeping our facilities clean.

In addition to displaying pride in what they do, this year’s Outstanding Cleaning Workers (OCW) must be self-motivated and accountable, demonstrate a positive, conscientious and considerate attitude, provide continual outstanding performance and demonstrate excellence in the performance of their job duties.

How It Works

Each individual nominee will be recognized with an Outstanding Cleaning Worker award medallion and featured in an Outstanding Cleaning Worker of the Year commemorative booklet. Please note, that there is a fee of $50.00 per nominee (this includes processing fees, the OCW medal award, program layout/printing, and customization, etc). If you choose to pay online via Paypal, you will be redirected to a PayPal checkout webpage. If you choose to pay later, you will receive an invoice from the Simon Institute for each cleaning worker that you nominate.
