The Simon Institute is a non-profit corporation that was officially founded in 2006. The Simon Institute is comprised of end user leadership in the cleaning industry from all segments including facility managers, in-house custodial services, building service contractors and non-profit organizations. The purpose of the Simon Institute is to benchmark cleaning industry best practices. This endeavor is accomplished by academic research of a variety of issues that affect the overall health and cleanliness of public facilities. In association with research, Simon Institute works with its participants to provide an environment which can support education and advance the current trends in the cleaning and facility management industries.
